Child Development Center
Our church also
operates the Union Church of God Child Development Center. This center
consists of a Christian Pre-school and Daycare center. We encourage all
those who are looking for a Bible-Based Pre-school for their children to
email us, and we will send you a packet of information about our

Sunday School/Family Training Hour
The Union Church believes that
Sunday School is not an option, but it is a necessity! We believe that
through our Sunday School program, lives can be saved, hearts touched,
and believers discipled into becoming missionaries for His Sake! Here

Classes are also held each
Wednesday evening during the Family Training Hour. There are classes for
every one in the family! No Surrender Youth Ministries also meets
during this time. Girls Clubs and Pioneers For Christ for the guys as
well.
The Union Church of God fully
believes that it is our responsibility to reach our community with the
Gospel of Jesus Christ. For that reason, the church is involved in
outreach ministries at nursing homes, local factories, and other
locations. By reaching out to society, the church can share the joy that
comes through knowing Christ as Lord and Savior.
We believe in order
to have a growing, thriving church in the coming millennium, we must
prepare our children NOW! That is what No Surrender is all about! No
Surrender ministers to youth on a weekly basis on Wednesday nights. Our
Youth Ministries Team, Sharon Burnett, Kyle Black, and Luann McAbee
teach and preach straight from God's Word, making it relevant to what is
going on in teenagers lives.
KIDS
Church
Also, on Sunday
mornings during our worship hour, we conduct KIDS Church. KIDS Church
is a worship service designed for ages 4 and 5 in Pre-school KIDS church
and Junior KIDS church ages 6-10. This hour is Bible based and used to
bring up children in their walk with the Lord. Sherry Burnett, Kyle
Black, Pam Roberts, Amy McCarley, and Marlene Jennings serve as our
leadership team in these areas.
Missions/Outreach
"Reaching the world, one soul at a time"
Union Church of God, the 1998 State Champion in YWEA giving with
$10,186.32. Also, the 1999 State Runner-up in YWEA giving with $5,800.
Winner of our category in 2000 SC YWEA giving. Also, Winner of our
category in 2001. Recently we received the silver award for our category
in 2002.
District Church
Pastor Alton Stone serves as
District Overseer and District Church for the Union District. We welcome
the following churches and their Pastors into this fellowship: Union,
Jonesville, Lockhart, and Whitmire.
Nursing Home/Shut In Ministry
Union Church of God ministers weekly in nursing homes, prisons, and
factories within our community. We believe that we are to take the word
of God outside of our four walls, and into this world! We also support
our retired ministers and their widows.
